Embracing Forty! (a giveaway)

Two weeks from today, I'll be turning the big 4-0!  In honor of the big day, I thought I'd have a little giveaway to celebrate.  Before I get to the giveaway, I wanted to share this card.  I just bought my first set of Verve Stamps and absolutely love this sentiment.  I thought it captures embracing life...and my big 40!  Thanks to Keesh for the fabulous sketch inspiration.
Now...onto the giveaway!  Prizma Goodies, Spellbinders Nestabilities, lots of 6 x 6 papers and a container with some ribbon.  I'll probably add a few more suprises too.  This will stay open until my birthday on November 7th.  I'll announce the winner sometime on the 7th.  Leave me a comment and let me know if there are things you'd like to see more or less of on my blog.  I love receiving your comments and feedback.
Ingredients:  Basic Grey Olivia DSP; Verve Beautiful You Stamps; SU Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz Ink; PTI Embellishments Stamps

Hi Lynn! PLEASE DO NOT change your blog! It's great just like it is! For me I love to read about you and your family! It kinda makes me feel like I REALLY know ya! HE HE! By the way, 40 isn't as bad as you may think! I, too, am a November "baby"! That's so funny 44 is far from babyhood! HE HE! Seriously, though I truly love your blog and appreciate all you do! Also, thanks for the chance to win an awesome giveaway! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Wow... the big 40! I thought 40 was my hardest birthday, I was too busy at 30 with my first set of children and trying to finish my bachelor's degree to even realize I had a birthday that year. But when 40 rolled around I was afraid to look in the mirror because I just knew there would be wrinkles and grey hair and there was. Fifty wasn't bad considering we had just adopted our 2 younger kids.
Hope this is the best birthday you have ever had and don't change anything about your wonderful blog!

Happy Birthday Lynn, a bit early! I personally enjoy coming over to your blog. I really enjoy reading about the things you have to say about your boys, seen as how I have two myself and can know what to look forward to when you talk about your older ones. I love your clean and simple cards, your takes are always interesting. I also like the way you pose your cards for photographing. Not really giving you anything to improve on, am I? Well, I like your blog as it is!

Great card...love the stamp behind the sentiment...nice touch!
Thanks for sharing a give away in anticipation of your b-day. My forties have been great...a bit more tired, but definitely settled in my own skin.

What a beautiful card! That layout is awesome but so is the way you used that patterned paper in the back!
Happy (early) bday, Lynn!

I stumbled across your blog a few months ago and loved your cards but I must confess that at first I was put off by the pictures of your boys at the top of the page. I thought, "Oh great. I love this lady's cards but I have to wade through a bunch of kid stories to see them." For a while I would just scroll through and look at your cards. Then I read a few of the "kid stories" and found myself with a smile on my face so I read a few more. Now I look forward to reading about what your boys are up to as much as I enjoy seeing your latest card creations. I also admire how much you seem to pack into each day between family, work and cards. Gives me a boost on the days when I feel overwhelmed by everything. So happy early birthday, Lynn! Thanks for the inspiration and the smiles and I look forward to much more! :)

I guess I'm a youngster, still have a few years until the big 4-0. I'm sure you will embrace it and remain youthful (you have to with all those boys)! :) I'm a newbie to your blog, but I was attracted to it because you do talk about more than just your craft. I like getting a glimpse into another mom's life. It makes me feel more normal.

Hi Lynn, I'm glad, I found you in blogland, so much inspiration from your cards. You are a hero for me: 4 children, full time job and time to stamp! You are lucky with your dear hubby!!! Big hello to him! I have one son (& dear supporting hubby)and sometimes hard to synchronize everything: household, family life and hobby! But the day is only 24 hrs long, right!
