Happy Shower!

My mum's friends threw her a surprise wedding shower last night.  We all met at Bravo's for the surprise!  She walked in and didn't have a clue that their normal girl's night out was a surprise just for her!  My mother-in-law was nice enough to stall her at her house to make sure everyone had a chance to arrive at the restaurant!

The ladies surprised her with an extra special gift from Victoria Secret!  A beautiful flannel nighty!  Isn't it just gorgeous!  :) My mum was a great sport modeling her honeymoon outfit!  Can you see how hard she is laughing?  She received some beautiful slippers too match! 

In all seriousness, they gave her a wonderful gift certificate for a spa day.  My sister-in-laws and I are going with her to the spa for massage, mani and pedi the day before the wedding!

Here is the whole gang celebrating!  The best part of the night was how all these ladies look out for one another.  My mum has such a wonderful group of friends.  They look out for one another in good and tough times.  These ladies have been there for my mum when my dad passed away and have also been there to celebrate the good times.  It was amazing to watch how they all quietly went around the room and checked on one another.  I hope I am as blessed as my mum to have such a wonderful group of friends.  The evening had a lot of laughter.  I haven't laughed that much in a two hour period of time in a very long time!
