Keep Calm and Drink Coffee

For those that know me well, this card should really say, Keep Calm and Drink Diet Coke...but I have plenty of friends who would appreciate this card!  I couldn't resist picking up these new stamps and dies from Verve.  Had fun quickly breaking open this set and playing along with Lisa's Wanna Sketch challenge.  Hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday!

Fabulous Birthday {and Mangan Family Easter}

We are really lucky that the majority of our family is in town and that the two out of town families aren't more than about six hours away. Everyone was in town this weekend to celebrate Easter.  Friday night we spent over Pat's parents with a casual dinner and Saturday afternoon we were at Pat's brother and sister-in-law's house for the annual Easter egg hunt before heading over to my brother's 50th birthday party.  It was another beautiful day and you can tell the cousins all enjoyed each other by the smiles on their faces.  and the picture in the middle bottom...my 16 year old son is holding a beer, but that was Pat's...goof balls...

They also had fun climbing up the tree...PS look closely at Collin's hair.   He had a little hiatus from the hair gel, but it's back :)!
My card today is for Lisa's fabulous Wanna Sketch...love, love, love her sketches!

Thinking of You

My mum stopped by over the weekend and asked if I had any get well cards.  I didn't have a single one...so I figured I better get moving. I didn't like when she said she had been buying some instead...grrr!  Thus, today's card:  a soft thinking of you card.  The colors didn't photograph that well, but I am happy with the end result.  I have been wanting to play along with Lisa's Wanna Sketch challenge as she creates awesome CAS sketches.  Unfortunately, she's already on her ninth sketch and I am just now playing!  What is that about?!  Anyways, as the saying goes, better late than never!

PS Several of you have emailed asking what stamps I'm using on cards, etc.  I'm trying to be better about posting the card ingredients...well at least the stamp set!  Don't hesitate to pop  me a note if I forget to do it!

Ingredients:  PaperSmooches Tag Scallop Die; WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals and dies
