Happy New Year!

Happy New Year my friends.  Happy to be popping in with a card to celebrate the new year. My cousin, Sandie, is guest designer over at Less Is More and there are so many fabulous cards there for their current challenge of adding dimension to your card.    I thought this verse from Verve was perfect for the new year.  You'll need to zoom in closely to see the dimension from the PTI linen impression plate.  I love a CAS card with a touch of dimension.  The sentiment panel is also popped up to add a touch of dimension too.  Yes...I might be pushing it a bit but my CAS loving heart loves this card :)

I hope your new year gets off to a great start and that the new year brings lots of crafty time for you.

I Love You Forever & Always

Before I get to my card today, I have to say thank you for all of the fabulous feedback on my Q&A Craft Fair post.  All of you gave such awesome feedback.   Katie and I have been reading the comments and are taking notes on what to do/not to do!  I think one of my keys is going to be to try not to buy a lot of new things to make items for the sale.  I have tons of supplies so I'm going to consciously try to use those and probably not make anything that requires the purchase of food/candy.  I'll be sure to share our creations as we make them.

Now onto my card.  I always love a CAS Sketch so the sketch over at Less Is More was perfect for me to play along with this week.  I had a great time mixing and matching PaperSmooches stamps for the sentiment.  This card will be a perfection valentine for one of my five boys :)!!

Job Well Done!

Let's chat about washi tape.  I am afraid of it.  Not sure why...but it just doesn't flow for me when I am creating.  So...today's card is a big deal...using three types of washi tape and one stamp :)  Just kidding!  This card will go in my stash for a future anniversary of a co-worker. I always try to have a couple extra of these on hand.  I'm playing along with the Less Is More Challenge which is black and white with a pop of color.

Now...switching subjects...as I type this I'm listening to the sounds in my house.  My oldest is upstairs playing the guitar, my hubby is reading/watching the football game in the room on the other side of the wall and I can hear Collin/Marcel/Jonathon in the basement decided who is it for their game.  Have to say I love the sounds of everyday life.  How about you?  What great everyday sounds  surround you?
