On Your Confirmation {his and hers}

It feels a bit strange to have a Confirmation mass on a week night, but tonight we will be celebrating Jonathon's confirmation.  I guess it works better for the bishop to schedule it this way. Jonathon is really blooming this year and it is wonderful to watch him try new things.  He'll have his first track meet tomorrow and is thoroughly enjoying it.  We're really proud of him for being a kind, giving and hard working young man.

Our Godchild is also being confirmed tonight so I made a his and hers cards. And..in stamping news, tried out my MISTI.  Love it!   I also made two First Communion cards (one for Marcel and one for my nephew). I'm going to enjoy having the MISTI for mass production.  How about you?  Have you purchased a MISTI?

Wishing You God's Blessing on Your Confirmation

Hello there...a card for no particular challenge today (I know don't fall over in shock!).  We're heading up to Pittsburgh this weekend for our niece, Erin's, confirmation.  Of course, I had to make her a card to go with her gift.  I'm her confirmation sponsor and am thrilled we can make it for this special occasion for her.

Now...I did have a mishap on this card...check out the card below.  I got all the way to taking the picture before I realized part of the sentiment was missing!  So...off came the cross onto a new card with a corrected sentiment. I wasn't sure I loved the flourish on the first version so I left it off.
