Yikes...it has been 10 days since I've made a card. The last couple of blog posts have been pre-scheduled for quite some time. Loved that I had time to pop in to my craft room and make a few cards last night. Creating makes me so very happy and relaxed!
This card features die cuts from Frantic Stampers. I think there is a certain elegance to white on white cards. The detail on the Quatrefoil Card Panel is absolutely perfect for the white on white trend. Since this is a pretty intricate die, I used a double sided adhesive on the card stock before I die cut it. It made adhering it to the card base super easy.
When I popped out the negative pieces of the die cuts, they were perfect to add a few little flowers. I used distress inks to ink up the flowers and the leaves. The leaves were made by cutting the small negative pieces in half. The flowers were finished up with a few enamel elements.
The final touch was to stamp the sentiment on the wavy banners. This will quickly go to a co-worker her for doing a fantastic job. Happy Friday my friends...we have an awesome weekend planned: a family dinner tonight, baseball Saturday and my half marathon run on Sunday!

I've missed you, Lynn! But this white-on-white wonder was well worth the wait! Wow! Do I love that die and what you've done with the 'left-overs!'

I'm so glad you could take a little time from your busy life to get into the craft room and create this beautiful card. White on white is truly elegant, and using the negatives for flowers was a brilliant idea. Good luck on your run Sunday. You're a wonder, Lynn.
beautiful card, Lynn - it's going on my "cards I love" pinterest board!
I was going to say that I love how the flowers mimic the lattice, now I see that the flowers came from the lattice - clever! Very, very pretty!
I totally feel the same way. Hate when so much time goes by without creating. So glad you found some time to do just that, Lynn! Beautiful card! ♥
white on white does look so very elegant and the pop of yellow perfect-good luck on Sunday xx
so crisp and stunning, love the texture! Reminds me of daffodils next to a freshly painted Pickett fence.
So glad you found some time to get into your craft room Lynn--beautiful card and that background is gorgeous!
Adore that BG! Beautiful card!
The white on white is very elegant, and you were so smart to make flowers out of those extra pieces. Good luck on your marathon. Gosh, is there anything you don't do?
