Happy Sunday my friends, popping in with a quick card for this week's MUSE challenge. Therese has a beautiful one layer card to inspire us. My mum asked for some plain cards along with her a few thank you cards. I was so tempted to put a hello sentiment in the curve of this card, but refrained (even had the stamped inked up to do it!).
We are sitting here enjoying a very lazy Sunday morning watching the British Open and the Tour de France. I've been out for a walk and need to get moving for the day, but lazy mornings are some times the best mornings! Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday.
Oh Lynn, this is a beauty. That coral with the grey/green is stunning. Gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteLove the colours and the generational stamping - gorgeous take on this week's Muse, Lynn!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Lynn! I am so proud of you for resisting the 'inked hello'! Sometimes it is so hard to not do it! The results without are so pretty. Oh your morning sounds perfect for a Sunday. Mine was spent watching a Friends Marathon with Brooklyn. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletegorgeous stamping Lynn and I really like you kept it plain with a coloured base-needs no more..and sounds the perfect morning to me x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the shadow stamping, the curve and that dark strip on the side! And yay for lazy Sunday mornings! :)
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh when I read that you had already inked the sentiment and then decided not to stamp, I know your mum will appreciate it. But I'm with you, I really like adding a sentiment when I make a card it's when it feels 'finished' to me. BTW, your card is incredible, love the colours!
ReplyDeleteLove coral and grey...happy sigh :) Greta shadow stamping too1 No lazy morning here...church and then to the hospital to visit mom (she fell earlier this week and has been in hospital since. Thankfully no broken bones as she has osteo but she can't sit up without excruciating pain - tore some muscles or something and her heart rate is high). Not fun being the sandwich generation...but God is faithful and that is what matters the most.
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning, Lynn. Those coral and grays are just perfect together, aren't they?! Sweet flowers and leaves, all shadowy too. This is a winner in my book! LOVE this. Thinkin' I'd better pin this too. Bev
