Thanks a Bunch

Hi there...it's going to be a busy 24 hours on my blog...I'm popping in to share a couple more cards for the current Clean & Simple class...and I'll be back shortly to share a card for the first Time Out Challenge and then one for the next Fusion challenge.

But before I get to my next two posts, let's chat about this post!  I took Laura Bassen's inspiration from today's class and did some layered stamping.  I love, love, love stamping. For my first card I covered the entire card base.  I rarely do this and have just a few background stamps that cover the whole card.  I also took Jennifer's tip of inking up the edges of the leaf stamps.  Love the extra bit of depth that gives the leaves. Here's hoping I remember that tip!

My second card I used the PTI Grunge Me set...I haven't used that in a really long time.  I love the combination of a feminine and masculine card with the same techniques!  Happy stamping my friends.

  19. Two FABULOUS cards, Lynn! Love the layered stamping on the first one, and how you can see the envelope pattern just a bit through those gorgeous flowers (I have that background stamp but never think to use it!) And the 2nd card is perfect, masculine and grungy!
