Congrats {and Marcel's Fine Arts Night}

Happy Friday Eve my friends.  I'm looking forward to the weekend! My card today is inspired by this gorgeous card from Kimberly. When I saw it, I immediately pinned it and new I had to come back to it.  I love how she used water on the skyline. This card is going to my niece Madeleine.

I thought I'd also share a few pictures from Marcel's fine arts night last night.  I love his sweet little smiles.  He was very proud to be singing/dancing with his friends and to show me around his classroom.  Here he is right as his class is getting ready for their song.

 Do si doing with his partner...apparently his shoe came untied right before they started.
A quick picture with his teacher, Mrs. Hickey and the classroom aide, Mrs. Wilhoite.  He loves them!
 He was very clear where he'd be on stage so that I sat "right up front by the blue risers mommy."  And my sweet little encouraging boy on his way out to his friend who introduced their song to the audience, "Luke, you did a really nice job speaking.  Mommy, doesn't he have really good fluency?"  Music to every second grade teachers ears!  Love this little man.

  4. Awww...Marcel sounds like a sweet and sensitive young man! Love your skyline card with the subtle watercolor effect along the bottom. I also really like the striped background peeking out from behind. It makes a great frame for your card.
