Happy Friday friends! Have any fun plans for the weekend? We'll be heading out to a show choir competition on Saturday for both Ryan and Jonathon. Sara from the Unhurried Life and her gorgeous family will be visiting for the weekend, as Sara's daughter, Michel, is competing as well. We always have a blast with Sara, Andrew and their girls. We're looking forward to having them here. I'd love to hear what you are up to this weekend.
But before I go, we're back with another fun Festive Friday inspiration photo. Those cookies look yummy to me. At first, I had in my mind that I was going with the holly from the inspiration photo, but once I got started, I went a completely different direction using my Fresh Squeezed Stamps sets. I love the sweet little gingerbread man. I'd love to see how you're inspired to play along with us at Festive Friday!
I just love that little gingerbread man! Perfect with the red accents!
ReplyDeleteThe gingerbreadman is so funny! Just a pitty that that isn't a theme at Christmas over here.... Love your card! I'm looking forward to working with you on the TO Challenge blog! Enjoy your fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Lynn and sounds like a fun weekend x
ReplyDeleteHow darling, love your sweet card Lynn!

Very sweet card, Lynn! I hope to play along this week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
What an adorable card, Lynn! I can't wait to see photos from show choir - hope you'll be sharing some! ♥
ReplyDeleteThat little guy looks good enough to eat! I may go with the holly berries inspiration so I don't eat my cardstock! LOL Sounds like a fun weekend planned...hi to Sara for me :) It's report cards for me :( But they'll be done soon so that will be good :) ox
ReplyDeleteCute as can be Lynn, I love this FSS set. So sad that they are closing..
ReplyDeleteCute card - love the bling for his buttons. Yeah for a fun weekend :) We are going to enjoy a much needed relaxing weekend. Moved our friends all last w/e and with the snow fall, soccer is cancelled as is my son's reffing so we will enjoy time together - my favorite type of weekend :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the gingerbread man with the peppermints and the red buttons! FAB sentiment, too! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and sweet! If I would not just have eaten a HUGE amount of chocolate, this card would make me grave for Christmas cookies and sweets! ;) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove gingerbread men, real and virtual. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the direction you took with this card. What a sweet and delicious combination. We finally have some rain this weekend, but that won't stop my daughter's soccer game. Hoping to break out some new stamps and inks too.
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds a bit more fun than mine... Lots of drywall sanding and painting (hopefully), so really... Lots of clean up!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite part is actually your red base because if how it sets everything off so perfectly. It's a small thing, but it really lets the whole design shine!
I'm with you...those cookies look sooo good! As does your card; it's just as sweet! Love that little 'gimerbred' man (as Lily spells it)! And you've kept your design so CAS. I love it when my eyes know right where to go! My weekend will start out with crafting, blogging, and then probably some college bball on TV. Church, laundry, and cleaning tomorrow. Bev
ReplyDeleteI want to eat this up!!! Love the sparkly buttons!
