With Gratitude

Happy Monday.  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  We had a nice weekend with time to sneak in some relaxation...including being in my craft room for a couple of hours yesterday.  My mum had the two little guys for the afternoon so it was nice to have a bit of quiet time.  Whenever I get new stamps, I leave them on my craft table until I've used them a couple of times.   So...my Paper Smooches Botanical II stamps were begging to be used.  The sketch over at PaperSmooches Sparks was the perfect change to get inky. I only have one thank you note in my stash so a thank you note it was!  You can tell I removed the layers from the sketch, but still kept fairly true to the sketch.

I also needed a sympathy card for our dear friends who lost their daughter to a stroke about a week ago. The minister read this Psalm at Jennifer's funeral.  I knew I wanted to send a card with this fabulous Verve stamp highlighting the beautiful words.  Jennifer's service truly highlighted her wonderful life.  This will be put in the mail to her mom and brother today.

Time Out Update!
Before I go, I wanted to mention that Nonni has a sneak peek up on the Time Out Challenge Blog.  We're looking forward to kicking off our challenges in March.  Be sure to hop on over and take a peek!  I hope your week gets off to a great start!

  20. These are both gorgeous, Lynn, and I especially love the second card (although I'm sorry for the reason you had to make it).
Will the PS Botanical II stamps be the new Reflections stamps for Mrs. Mangan? Only time will tell… ;)

  21. Lynn, these are gorgeous! I saw the first pinned by Cath (so you know its incredible) and your second is even more beautiful because of how meaningful it is. It's such a pretty card and how wonderful that you included the verse from Jennifer's funeral. I'm sure it will be cherished.
