Hello, hello! As I type of this post, my boys are doing the happy dance! No school tomorrow as the kids have a snow day. No snow day for me...but hopefully the roads will be clear by the morning!
It's my day to share on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp blog! I have two very different cards to share for you. The first up is a card for our neighbor who turns fifty later this week. He didn't want a party so his wife suggested we flood him with cards! I cut the 50 out with my Cricut and had fun adding the stamps.
And last but not least...a cheery thank you note! I still need spring to arrive! This weather is crazy!
Yeh to our girl Friday, love the card for your neighbour, great colours and the bright cheery colours in your second card really make us want spring to be here x
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards Lynn! I too want spring to be here but we are going to be getting more snow. UGH!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them both, Lynn! I'm dying for spring also!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lynn, you're getting the same storm as we had yesterday - bummer! At least we have boys to help with the shoveling! Love both cards! That cut-out 50 looks so cool and love the bright, happy colors and cool design of your second card! Drive carefully today!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely! Awesome stampin on the second, lov the colors too. TFS
ReplyDeleteLynn, you amaze me with all the awesome cards you crank out. Both of these are so fun. Love the colors on the second card. We have a snow day too. The girls are still sleeping!
ReplyDeleteLynn both fabulous creations. Great work with the Cricut and the thank you card is so cheery. I hope you were able to get to work safely today.
ReplyDeletesee all the wonderful things waiting for me if I turn that Cricut on? I really need to get serious about learning it! I agree it's time to welcome Spring. The snow from the other night has melted so we are back on track. Maybe I'll be in flip flops before you this year ;)
ReplyDeleteLove both cards! Great color combo on the second and I love the simplicity of the first! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea to flood him with cards :) Love the negative space you used to highlight the big 5 - 0 :)
ReplyDeleteFabulously, bright colours on the second.
The negative number cuts really make an impact, fab card and love the trio of circles ..... So fresh and bright :0)
ReplyDeleteJenny x
That set cracks me up (the first one). One of the CQC gals, I think maybe it was Tracey used that recently, and I don't have any of this brand of stamps, but I might need to order this! What a kick! Thanks for the kind words, Lynn :) I know we are friends outside any challenge. <3 I will miss that DT, such fab girls. But I just had too much on my plate. Anyhow, both ADORABLE cards! Hope the show choir route is going well for your son still. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry its been so long inbetween visits, Lynn! LOVE both these cards, especially that cheery thank you with all the fun colors!
ReplyDelete... turning 50? No, not me, but my 40++++th birthday is in a few days (-;
ReplyDeleteI like your card, nice sketch and the number you cut out is perfect!
The second card brings some spring feelings. We had three sunny days (I had to work...), but the weatherman said snow is on it's way again.
Take care, drive carefully!
The weather is crazy!! It's so windy here and we are expecting snow!!
ReplyDeleteA snow day huh? Today we finally had sun for the first time in about a week but we're supposed to be having gale force winds by midnight. Boo!
ReplyDeleteLove both your cards. The first one is a great masculine one and the cheery colours on the second make me smile! :)
Great cards! My kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow but I'm not sure they will get one. Thinking the snow might miss us:)
ReplyDeleteLynn, both of your cards are awesome!!! I love the cut out numbers!
ReplyDeleteLove the negative die cut.
ReplyDeleteCome to Florida where it IS spring! No snow here! Your WTF card cracked me up and your spring card is so Pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't like to drive in the snow. Love your cards...especially the first one!
ReplyDelete2 fabulous cards - the sentiment on the first card made me take a double take for sure! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe've been warned of a cold snap next week with wintry showers. Ugh. When will spring be here?!
Hugs!
