Happy Easter my friends. I'm off today and the cousins from Pittsburgh have arrived so there will be lots and lots of play time for the boys. Before our day gets started, I thought I'd share two cards for you. First up is a card for the current MUSE challenge. To say I admire this week's MUSE's style is an understatement. Ardyth is extremely creative. Her graphic style inspires me. I follow her on Pinterest and always love to see how she is inspired. You can tell from my card above and her inspiration below that I followed the layout pretty closely and loved all the colors. I used an SRM sticker for the sentiment and my new Verve goodies for the flowers.
Two of my co-workers had their first children this week. I have a baby girl card in my stash, but no boy cards. So...I quickly got to work on making a boy card following along with this week's Retro Sketch. Can't say I love this card...but it is out the door!
Hope you have a fabulous start to the holiday weekend!
Lynn! I LOVE this! You've captured the bounce and fun of the original, but made it completely your own! Thanks for showing how versatile the layout can be. I'm so glad you played along! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove them both, Lynn! Enjoy your company and Happy Easter to you and your family! Hugs! :)
ReplyDeleteyou've got quite the fun line up today! LOVE the new flowers stamp (was that fast shipping or what?) I'm loving the way you are using the stickers too. Did you get them at Archivers? Oh, and congrats on the Festive Friday shoutout! Woohoo! That quilting was amazing! Have a great time with the relatives...so glad you get a day off :) Happy Easter to everyone!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely FABULOUS, Lynn! Gorgeous design with the flowers and use of SRM sentiment! It will be awesome if you can share your SRM card over Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1376214@N22/ Hope you and family have a wonderful Easter weekend!
