My niece, Madeleine, is interning in Alaska right now. I've sent her a few cards to keep her up to date on what is happening around here. Today's card featuring The Craft's Meow Geometric Foundations (designed by the amazingly talented Karen Baker) was made just for Madeleine. We are really missing her. We see her every few weeks as she only lives about 15 minutes away so it is so strange to not see her in person for four months! I know her mom, dad and sister are missing her too! And I love that she is writing back to me too. So who do you send cards to most often? My 94 year old nana receives the most cards from me!

I'm catching up on my Project Life layouts. They are starting to get a bit quicker to do for me! The Jessica Sprague class I took was worth the money! The first layout below is from a couple weekends ago when I took Jonathon, Collin and Jonathon's friend, Kyle, sledding. Marcel had absolutely no interest in being in the cold (he's my child!). They made it for about an hour and had a ball. Love the expressions on their faces. Kyle kept falling off his sled so I had to include that in the photos I captured.
And I've already shared these pictures of Collin and our neighbor, Jake, building their snowman, but I thought it would be fun to share them in the finished layout too.
LOVE the layouts and that you're able to keep up to Project LIfe. I'm thinking you have to find your "groove" for that :) I send cards mostly to my family and close friends (you being one of them!). I hope Madeline's internship is going well :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun bright card! So, you make cards and do project life? Wow! Looks awesome. I'd love to try it, but the thought of it overwhelms me.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card Lynn, and the boys look like they had a blast sledding!
ReplyDeleteVery cool card! My family receives the most cards from me, after that probably teachers :)
ReplyDeleteI love your Project Life layouts. I just ordered a Core Kit, album etc. I'm hoping this type of scrapbooking/memory keeping gets photos in an album. I hope you'll continue to share your layouts, it'll help motivate me!
Love the bright, bold colours on your card! This is gonna be a must have set!
ReplyDeleteYour photos rock and the boys look like they're having a blast. I'm with you and Marcel though - no cold for me! It was 55 here yesterday and I was freezing!
