CAS-ual Fridays: Love Song!

Hello Friday!  We're back again with another super fun challenge this week at CAS-ual Fridays:  in honor of the Grammy's this week, make a card inspired by a song that you love.  Our sponsor is the fabulous CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

So, when choosing a card to make first let me tell you that I love to sing, but I never get the lyrics right!  But, when I thought a bit more about a card to make, two songs kept coming to mind:  A Wonderful World by Louie Armstrong and Lord of the Dance by Sydney Carter.  A Wonderful World is what my granddad Munro used to sing to me when he would call from England. I can remember those calls so vividly even though he has been gone for 28 years.   He would call and either sing that or Here She Is, Miss America.  Too funny and oh how I loved him.  Whenever I hear the song, my thoughts immediately go to him.  The Lord of the Dance makes me think of my beautiful sister-in-law, Susie, who died from  cardiomyopathy at the age of 24.  Susie was married to Pat's brother, Sean, and did not know that she had a heart condition and passed away suddenly.  At her funeral, we sang Lord of the Dance.  I will never forget how strongly the congregation sang this song.  It still gives me pause 16 years later to think of how despite such a difficult situation, Susie's family and friends ushered her into heaven with this gorgeous song.  So, a somber reason for thinking of this sentiment, but I have always loved it and it truly reminds me of this song.
