Thinking of You

Yesterday, I had some time to craft while the little guys had their cousin over to play.  My craft room is in the basement and there was a serious game of swords going on right next to me!  I decide to play along with the first two Viva La Verve Challenges for January. As you can tell both of these are very CAS versions of the sketch!  The first one above is also using the ColourQ palette shown below.

This next card is for a dear friend whose mom passed away this week. I've looked at this sentiment for a long time thinking that although it is non traditional I think it is perfect for a sympathy card.  Life may be brief, but our love for our family that has passed away never ends.  My friend is certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynn these are both lovely! I love the bright burst of colour in the first. The second is a beautiful sympathy card, I'm sure your friend will appreciate it.

o.k. I completely love the second card! The background of the faint hearts and the idea of using this sentiment in this way would never have crossed my mind but it is perfect x

I always love to see how you CAS-ify a sketch, Lynn! I especially love the second CAS-ified card - that sentiment is beautiful for a sympathy card.
Hugs!
