Thankful on Thursday

If you popped by last Thursday, you know that I did a Thankful on Thursday post.  I'm still not sure that I'm going to do this every week, but typing this up on Wednesday night and I'm feeling thankful!  So here goes...today I'm thankful for:
  • The honesty of children.
  • A hobby that man oh man can take my mind off just about anything.  90 minutes in my craft room was exactly what I needed to relax.
  • Funny questions from little boys.  Marcel asked me yesterday if I was going on a field trip anytime soon. I love his perspective...what he wanted to know was if I was going out of town for work this week.  Wouldn't it be fun if we called business trips field trips?
  • Exercise (yes...this is strange, but when I exercise regularly, I do feel better).  Hopefully I'll remember this when the alarm goes off tomorrow morning.
And...I have a card for you for the current Runway Inspired.  It used two new PaperSmooches sets:  Salutations and Bold Blooms and I have to say that I've in love with this card.

So...this is question week on the blog...what are you thankful for today?

PS thanks for the tips on the new SU ink.  Inking up softly seemed to help tonight.

Thankful Thursday...lovin' this feature. I think it's always good to be reminded about the things we are thankful for!

I'm thankful for my lovely kids...they make me laugh and as graduation draws near for my girl, I realize how quickly time flies by.

I'm glad you decided to do another Thankful on Thursday post - so important to remind ourselves about the good things in our lives!

I'm thankful for so many things, but I'll give ya a goofy one this time: I'm thankful for the fact that the winter storm that's heading this way is going to miss us and go more north! YAY! :)

  7. what a perfect interpretation of the inspiration photo! I'm thankful I live close to work so I don't have to drive far when it snows! We've had a big dump over the last few days. I'm also thankful for tomorrow being Friday! LOL Yes, more field trips should be on the list for us! LOL

  9. Wonderful take on the insp. picture :) Had to giggle at the field trip question - love how kids think. Top of my list was when I told my son that we would have to send some dear neighbours that moved some of our strawberry runners for their new house as our patch came from their runners a few years back. He looked at me with a puzzled face and asked how one goes about e-mailing strawberries :)

  13. This is so pretty, Lynn! Gorgeous! I am thankful for my children. I have heard some pretty negative comments from people that do not have children and it has hurt my heart deeply.

I love Marcels comment! Just tonight when I put my daughter to bed, she said, "Mommy, I think it would be best if Josh started picking up after himself." She is 5 and Josh is almost 18 months. Kids say the darndest things!

  16. Beautiful card, and such yummy colors. I'm thankful for a little bean who is finally sleeping through the night! :) (And I love the prompt generally-speaking. One of my resolutions for this year is to be less annoyed and more grateful. Working on it...)
