Happy Saturday! I'm popping in to visit after Collin's first basketball game of the season. I have to say I love going to the games...they are super fast paced. They got win this morning and most importantly Collin is having fun. Pat is the assistant coach this year. He loves coaching.
I've been itching to craft all week, but have been too tired to get myself off the couch at night. So...this morning before the game and exercising, I made this card. I wanted to try the chalkboard technique that I've been seeing in blog land. I used the Lil Inker die for my chalkboard and a Verve sentiment from the Brighter Days set. Since I'm trying something new, I'm entering in in the current Simon Says Challenge and the color combo is for the new Inkspirational Challenge. My talented cousin, Sandie, is on their awesome design time. Although I noticed I was supposed to use dark pink...woops!
So that's all for today...heading out to see Les Mis tonight and looking forward to it! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!
