Just Us Girls #162: Technique Challenge

Welcome to another Just Us Girls Challenge!  This week, we have an absolutely gorgeous technique for you to try!  I love ribbon, but honestly typically use it only to create a border and tie a bow!  But...not today!   Today, we have a technique tutorial on how to create a ribbon wreath.  I used Stampin' Up ribbon for my wreath and I absolutely love the end result.
Wouldn't it be fun to try a big wreath with this technique too?  What do you think?  Come play along, I'd love to see cards with a variety of types of ribbons and sizes too!

My mom taught me this technique probably 40 years ago using our palms that we received on Palm Sunday in church. We would get the double palm and weave each of them seperately but keep them in one piece. This way the palms were easier to wedge behind a cross on the wall....who would have thought this would turn into a crafting project! Julie H in MN
