Hello there...I had to play along with the current Runway Inspired...I loved those stripes. I combined two CAS-ual Friday Stamps set for my card today: Truth Is and WTF. Love those flowers and the funky fonts!
And I wanted to share some happy everyday moments. I'm calling them happy hugs today...and here they are.
- The best one first: Collin's smile and big hug when he got 43 (his goal is 40) on his math fast facts while working with Pat. He came running into tell me...his smile and the hug were beyond precious. My little man is working hard!
- A hug from my co-worker...who I gave a thank you note for great client service. She gave me a great hug...not just a hug for the sake of a quick thank you back, but a solid hug. Love that my team is comfortable doing that. It means a ton to me as their manager...and don't you worry...I'm not crossing the line :)
- A hug from a friend...who I made a set of "professional" thank you notes to support her business. Her goal is to send out more thank yous to clients and other people supporting her growth.

What a wonderful post...not only is your card fantabulous...I loved reading about your day!
So cute! Love that sentiment and stripes.
Wonderfully inspired card, Lynn! A simple hug can make your entire day! Loved reading about your hugs. :)
Love happy hugs, going to email you a photo of my little man asleep in bed with a stack of cards in his hand and under his chin...Gotta play along with this challenge-- it's my color combo!
Loved the card - was disappointed there wasn't a picture of Collin's big smile!!! Please tell him "congratulations" and to keep up the good work.
I've been loving Michele's stamps and you used them beautifully here, Lynn!
I try to give a happy hug daily to someone. I remember once, our company had an ongoing sexual harassment suit and told every store that we were not to touch or hug each other! It was the stupidest rule EVER!! At my store, there are some of us who have worked together for 30 years, and there was NO WAY we were going to stop giving each other hugs! Glad to hear you, and the people you work with, feel the same way! We all need more hugs! :)
Great card Lynn. I absolutely LOVE that sentiment.
what a sweet card and YES, those fonts are fabulous! I got a cozy hug from Tony as he arrived back home from a quick job...too bad it's not Saturday morning! LOL AND my sweet little email from you about Collin :) Congrats on his hard work! Facts are tricky!
Love the card! Kraft with red and white - yummmm :)
Hugs are the best - they can express so much without words ever having to be said. My hug came from my daughter who stayed home sick from school for few days and said when she hugs me she just feels better. Second one came from my son who gave me a big hug after I helped him set up the formatting on Word for his Mesopotamia project and showed him how to use it.
Darling rendition from the Runway photo!! AWESOME use of that fabulous set of stamps, Lynn!
yes I love the RIC this week and your card is just perfect. You deserve all those hugs. And I got a big hug from Sarah (remember her?) when she invited me for coffee-a real hug! Nothing better. I'm sending you a hug across the seas! xx
Such sweet post Lynn! Great take from the inspiration photo!
Such a cute card Lynn. Great color combo. Loved reading about your happy hugs too. No hugs going on here this week as we are all under the weather with fevers and such:) Hope all is well with you.
First, your card is so striking, I like that you created a pattern with that image too. Second, congratulations to Collin-that's got to be quite an accomplishment. I received a good hug today, from my dad's father, who is struggling to stay optimistic after continuously visiting my grandmother at the hospital. He appreciated the time I took to visit, it broke up the monotony of his day.
Aww, I love all your happy hugs stories, Lynn :) Those make me smile! I got tons of happy hugs when my niece was here last week :) The card is a great take on the photo I love the red stamped on the kraft!
Thank you for your comments. Would have to say this was my happy hug today. Love your take on the challenge. Red is so striking. The sentiment is very fitting it seems. I have been keeping up with your wonderful cards. Congrats on your design team selection. Blessings to you and your family.
Brilliant interpretation of this photo Lynn, beautifully done.
