You're My Type of Friend

Hello and happy hump day?  Do other countries refer to Wednesday as hump day?  Middle of the week?  Over the hump?  Let me know my international friends!  I have a very CAS card coming at you for this week's Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger.  I went literal with my interpretation of the inspiration photo...no surprise there!  And...all Hero Arts yumminess so I'm entering this card in the HA Clean & Simple challenge too!

And a quick funny story...last night we were watching the Olympics and balance beam came on.  Marcel starts yelling at the tv, "Hey, what is she doing on that stick?!  What is SHE DOING on that stick?"  I was cracking up...I guess we don't watch gymnastics very often!  Have to say I'm amazed by what the girls can "do on that stick." :)

I too love your literal translation. Lovely colours together.

Yes most definitely we use the term hump day on a Wednesday down here in Australia - and since I'm originally from New Zealand I can tell you they use it there too :)

Such a great interpretation of the Trigger, Lynn! I adore that sentiment, too! And your story about Marcel is HILARIOUS! I bet after watching all those falls and wobbles, last night, he doesn't want to go anywhere near one ;). Gosh, what happened to Gabby, after she won her gold?! Sigh.

Lynn this is delightful and so much fun. I'd love to have ANY color of vintage typewriter but wow, a red one would be fantastic!

A fabulous and literal take on the trigger, Lynn! I love the punny sentiment of course!
Hee Marcel is soooo funny! It is a pretty narrow 'stick' and I too am amazed by how brave and talented those gymnasts are!
FYI: We don't have 'hump day' over here. In fact, if you said "Happy hump day" you may get a few raised eyebrows...you may even make a few of us blush as the word 'hump' is slang for a very personal and intimate activity! LOL! Still, I know what you guys mean when you use the word! LOL!
