Yesterday's bonus class for Stretch Your Stamps was to use stamps with matching die cuts. I admit that I don't use my dies nearly enough so I was really happy to play along with this challenge. For the first one, I took inspiration from Julie Ebersole's class video that showed using stamps with vellum. I cut the image out twice. Stamped it once with a light green ink and the second tight in a purple ink. I then cut out the flowers and adhered them with glue dot dimensionals to the green die cut image. Now...looking at this...I should have also done something a bit different with the sentiment from the Day 5 class! I do love the soft feminine feel of the card.
Next up is a completely different looking card. For this card, I embossed the outside edge using a Lil Inkers Embossing Frame. I then die cut the flowers from PaperTrey Ink's Larger than Life set. Love the color combo!
I will be back tomorrow with some more cards inspired by the class!

Awesome cards. I really love the framed in look of the second one - and I agree - love the colors too!!
These are really amazing! That frame is awesome and I love the colors also! Great job.
Oh my goodness, I totally love both cards. The softness of the flowers and sentiment in the first one....the background paper in the second one (LOVE!) and those cool flowers like a bouquet for someone who needs them, and then balanced out with those buttons and sentiment like that. Awesome job, Lynn! I also am taking this class, have watched most of the videos, but have yet to produce a card!! You're inspiring me, however, so hopefully soon!
Love, love both cards - you amaze me every day!!!
These are so pretty Lynn. Love the lovely flower images. Great textues too, especially on the second one.
Both of your cards are absolutely gorgeous Lynn! Love the flowers on the first one.
Absolutely beautiful Lynn, such a soft palette of colors and they both turned out great.
Yikes! I haven't even looked at day 6! Love both cards, Lynn! Beautiful and soft! :)
Both cards are equally fabulous, Lynn! Love the vellum on the first and that frame on the second is amazing!

Both cards are fab, but I LOVE the look of the vellum on the first one. :)
Both cards are so soft and pretty!
These are both so wonderfully soft. I'm especially in love with the little bouquet of die cut flowers and frame on the second one!
Such pretty cards today! The flowers look so soft and pretty stamped on the velum! :> Vellum can be fussy to cut so having a die would be a huge help! :> I love the second cards pretty colors and embossing!
LOVE BOTH, Lynn, but the second one looks like a Beautiful frame around those flowers! I must admit I have those dies and have never figured out how to use them! Your card is FABULOUS! LOVE the buttons, too!
Beautiful cards, Lynn! That woodgrain frame is delish! And the feel of the first is so soft and elegant! Absolutely stunning!

I love both of these! And I think I have that second stamp and die set...they have been neglected, obviously!

So pretty and feminine like you say and that frame is just perfect....it could almost be dried grasses and flowers in that picture :0)
