Little One

Good morning, I'm popping in this morning for a card to welcome a precious little one to Cristina's family. They had a new little boy arrive just over a week ago.  I wanted to make a card in non traditional colors (so no light blues!)  I was looking through my patterned paper and deciding on alternating strips of the polka dota and chevron papers.  Have to say I love the graphic feel of this card! (not the best picture though!).  And although I made this over the weekend, I'm going to enter this in the Runway Inspired Baby Shower for Cristina and Sarah.  So happy for both of you!  Is there anything better than welcoming a new little one into a family?

Question for you:  I have a couple of baby sets, but none that I just love.  Do you have a baby set of stamps that you love?  If so, let me know. I'd love to hear from you!

PS  I had a comment yesterday asking about the set I used for this card from my Just Us Girls post. I apologize that I don't have your email since it was an anonymous comment, but here is a link to the Hero Arts set and matching dies.  Love the set!

What a sweet baby card, Lynn!! Love the graphic feel too :)
I'm still on the lookout for a good baby set myself too. I have my eye on an older Ali Edwards set ;)

Hmmm, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what makes a good baby set. (Perhaps we can coordinate?) The first thing I thought of when I saw this card was how cool it looked, it was just like a little gift! Great patterns and colors.

This is just gorgeous, Lynn. I'm also on the hunt for the perfect baby set. I like the giraffes and elephants from Clear & Simple stamps but I haven't bought them yet. It's a tough one.

I love this! I always find baby cards the hardest to make. Your non-traditional take is refreshing and something for me to keep in mind!

this is the best baby card!! Perfect for those CAS new mommies! lots of babies online this year! I don't have many baby sets either...I probably use Verve's To the Moon the most because of the sentiments. I still love to use an old SU stamp of 2 feet and type my own sentiment "I hear your house has grown by 2 feet." I've always loved that!

Lynn I love this card. Your non-traditional colours are so striking. The ribbon is so lovely and the patterns are so so pretty.

Absolutely LOVE this and I'm sure she will too! I love using Emery (Verve PJ) and the giraffe from Wild About You (retired SU set) and a giraffe one I got as a single stamp but can't remember who it is by! A also use the Denami Designs babies.

LOVE that sweet, little, paper-pieced package! And your little tag is such a great detail! I don't have an absolute favorite baby set. But I have several stamps, from a variety of sets, that are my go-tos, when there's a sweetie to celebrate.
