Nothing is Impossible

Hi there, yesterday I showed my first card using my new Inspired by Audrey stamp set. Today, I have a completely different looking card using the same set.  So versatile.  I thought this sentiment was perfect for an entry into the Gallery Idol challenge at PaperCrafts.  It is definitely encouraging...and nothing is impossible, right?!

And...I have a second card to share with you.  Some days you need to roll with it and when it comes to my second card that is just what I'm doing.  I had time Tuesday night to create and I made this card.  I actually started with a 4x4 card but when I stamped the banners they were too close together to add the sentiment.  So I cut the 4x4 card and mounted it on a normal card base, added the sentiment and then messed around with a couple of larger ribbons before settling on the smaller ribbon.  Not my normal style.  Kept thinking about how I could add some more stamps and I'm not exactly happy with the end resutls.  But..not every day is perfect so any thoughts on how you'd change this are welcome.

PS...this is my entry for this week's ColourQ :)

Love the sentiment and design of the first card Lynn - good luck with Gallery Idol. I think you did an ingenious save of the second card and I really like the colours :)

Lynn, it warms my heart seeing this set put to such a fantastic, creative and stylistic way such as you do! I was just thinking how perfect this set is for the GI challenge! Love the execution and approach to the first card and I agree with Judith, a really great save on your second card.

wow, the mojo was jumping! Cool rainbow effect on the first one and I love the sentiment...never thought of that word that way :) The boldness of the orange on the second gives it a wow factor! I am still mulling those colours around...I need some good play time this weekend in the studio :) Hope all is well this week :)

Your rainbow is so clever, especially the way you masked an area for the sentiment. And I, for one, just LOVE your second card! How clever of you to cut the panel apart to salvage the design, which wound up being totally unique and fabulous!

Both cards are great, but I really like the second card. I have that Paper Smooches sentiment set, and am always on the lookout for clever ways to use it. Am pinning this one!

I love both - I'm partial to lots of white myself (as well as rainbows), but I saw your orange one on the colour q site as well - I really like both of your cards!

Now your card really shows how versatile those stamps are and I totally love that sentiment too.
I love that bold coloured card base for your ColorQ card, the gap for the sentiment in the centre is brilliant...I've had to chop and change to save cards before, they can give you a pleasant surprise sometimes!!

Good save on your CQC creation! The sign of a good stamper, that you can use something even though it wasn't your original plan!
