Hey There, You Rock!

Hey there...you rock :)  Speaking of rockin', do any of you stop by Susan's Questioning My Intelligence blog?  She is the amazing blogger at Simplicity and has this blog too. One of my favorite regular posts of Susan's are her gratitude journals where she talks about the little things she is thankful for each day.  So, here's my gratitude journal for today.  Today, I'm thankful for:
  • A little six year old who is busy practicing baseball with his daddy.  10 days and counting until Marcel's first baseball practice.
  • A hubby with a new iPhone that is now texting and making it a point to text Ryan each day about his iPhone.  Ryan's response:  "I think I would rather not have a phone if you're going to send me texts like this every day."  Secretly we know Ryan is cracking up as he's admitted to showing them to his friends.
  • A big smile when Collin walks in from school and sees me working from home.  There is nothing like an enthusiastic "Hi Mommy."
  • Cough syrup with codeine for a good night's sleep.
As an fyi, my today is for the current Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge.   I had tons of ideas for this awesome inspiration photo (and it makes me think I need some stamps with clocks)...but this CAS idea from a bit of patterned paper was my jumping off point.

Happy Friday.  Work today and then we're going to see dinner and to West Side Story with our dear friends, Dan & Chrissy.  Really looking forward to it!

PS A couple of you asked about the hexagon punch from yesterday's card.  It is a very old Creative Memories punch. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they still sell it or not.

Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us. Kids makes us happy too. They have a week off school, I had to work 3 days but daddy was home. I am thankful that we all are well, no one is ill. Even so many people around as have the flu...

Your card is amazing again. I love CAS cards! Did you sprayed glimmermist on cardstock?

Wishing you a very nice evening together with your husband and friends! Enjoy the dinner and West Side Story (-:

Shame about the punch, I'll have to stop being lazy and get the circuit working then!

So much to be thankful for, you really do have to take the time to enjoy those small moments. I hope Marcel's first practice goes well!
Lovin' your CAS design - those frames really add a cool, interesting dimension!
