Back on my patterned paper kick...well at least for today I am! Popping in to share my card for this week's ColourQ Challenge. Such a fabulous color combo yet again from the wonderful designers over at ColourQ. I kept it really simple with strips of patterned paper. I played around with a sentiment panel, but couldn't come up with one that made me happy next to the bow so I took the easy route and added a little tag.
This card is going to my neighbor who is having hip surgery for the second time. She had her hips both replaced last year; since then the doctors have discovered that she is allergic to the metal in the replacement hips. On Tuesday, she had one replaced and the second one will be replaced in about 6 weeks. I'm certainly praying for her and sending lots of thoughts of quick healing for her. It's been a long journey for her recovery.

I love the little tag - it's the perfect finishing touch! :)
And your poor neighbour! What an awful experience! I hope things go better for her this time around.
Hello Lynn,
It is almost noon, I have to pick up our youngest from school to have lunch at home.

Beautiful Lynn, I love the tiny tag just hanging from the ribbon. Very pretty.
These patterns and colors look gorgeous together, Lynn! Beautiful card! :)
Wow, Lynn, you mixed and matched papers beautifully here! I think the tiny tag is just perfect for the design, too. Love how your eye is drawn to it because of the contrasting ribbon. Hope your neighbor has a speedy recovery! My dad had one hip replaced last fall and needs the other one done soon. I can't imagine having to go through it a third and fourth time!
oh, my! Your poor friend! To have to go through 2 more surgeries like that! Sending prayers her way for good healing. This card is sure to bring a smile to her face each time she sees it :) That little tag is too adorable! I used one of my little tag dies this week and thought of you and how I stamped a bunch at your place last summer :) I still use them when I can :)
