Between my card and the background real flowers...this picture definitely shouts spring at you! I'm sneaking it before the Embellish Challenge runs out! For this card, I stamped the Hero Arts background in Versafine and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. For the rosette portion of the challenge, I used a Gluber to make the flower. I've had this turquoise ribbon for years. The leaves use a touch of burlap. To finish it off I added some pattern papers and a quick thank you. A simple design, but you know me...I like simple :)
I also wanted to pass on information about a new Etsy shop. Alicia's good friend, just opened a shop, selling adorable, bur clothes. If you have a new little one or are looking for a gift for a friend's little one, they look beyond adorable. Happy shopping! Here's a very sweet picture of Alicia's daughter, Emelia, modeling with one!

I love all the textures on this card, Lynn! The ribbon, the burlap and that yummy background. :)
I just love that rolled, ribbon rose Lynn. Beautiful work! :)
Awh what a smile (could squish those cheeks lol!) and what a card Lynn - love your flower - the burlap leaves are a real wow!
Beautiful take on the challenge, Lynn! And what a darling pic of Alicia's daughter! TFS!
lol, everytime I see Gluber, I think Guber!! LOL That rosette is fabulous and against that background? WOW! Aren't burlap leaves fun? Now I look around and ask, what else can I die cut with! I might try a frilly flower! Although it would take up a lot of my last burlap piece.
The flower is gorgeous and the colour so striking. The background says vintage to me so the card, to me, mixes contemporary and old-just gorgeous x
Gorgeous, Lynn! Love how the background turned out! I will have to give that a try! :0)
