Tuesday Trigger

Happy Thursday...that makes it Friday eve...which is always a good thing in my book.  I don't know about you, but I'm craving spring.  The days are starting to get a bit longer with a touch more sunlight.  I'm ready for it to be light until 8:30 or 9.  Driving to and from work in the dark is getting a bit old.  Hurry up spring...make it to our door step!

Now onto my card today.  It's been a bit since I've played along with a Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger.  When I first looked at the inspiration photo below I thought "polka dots" but then I moved onto the woodgrain.  And now, looking at it again, I must have subconsciously been looking at the yellow panels in the back.  Any ways...you can see how I was inspired.  Hope you like it and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Love the woodgrain panels and the texture of the burlap and twine. :)

I'm with you on the daylight thing, I hate coming and going in the dark!

Lynn, I love the rustic feel of this card...and your take on the woodgrain from the photo! I've enjoyed reading about your family, especially your recent post about your son soon heading to HS, then college. You're such a sweet mom!

Yes, spring is on its way, I do love the thought too!
And I do also love your card. Even I haven't seen the challenge foto, I knew immediately that you took the colors of the inspiration photo (: I saw the photo somewhere else in blogland (that litte house is so sweet, isn't it?)
Have a wonderful evening!

I love your buttons and burlap! Great response to the trigger. My daughter just commented yesterday how Thursday is her favourite day of the week because it is the day before Friday, when she gets to relax in the afternoon. I think she likes the anticipation more than the actual relaxation, LOL!
