So Proud of My All Star

Ryan...third on in on the left in the front row.

Our Little League All Star Tournament started tonight...and wow, wow, wow!  We didn't win, but our boys played their hearts out.  It truly was the best baseball I ever seen played. At the end of the seventh, we were tied 4-4 after several back and forth leads.  We lost after nine innings, but these boys had true sportmanship, outstanding defense and offense.  I am one proud mom!

Here's my guy behind the plate. He caught for all nine innings.  In the seventh inning, he had an out at the plate.  The player from the other team was ejected for unsportsman like conduct when he literally tackled Ryan.  He popped right back up and kept on catching.  The out was AMAZING!  And I had to hold back tears.  Mama Bear was about to come out.  The coach of our opponent was excellent.  He apologized to Ryan and after the game was over had his player do the same.
Conference with the coach...they look so professional.
Never have I been prouder!  Can you tell?

Congrats Lynn!!! Wow, 9 innings! Brett rotates in and out as catcher since it's been so hot. He loves being catcher! We go to the Single A World Series in less than a week!

Congrats to Ryan and his team for a great game! And especially to Ryan for behaving like such a pro. :) I can see Mama Bear's proud puffed up feathers from here! :)

Great pictures - it was such an exciting game - everyone worked so hard. Couldn't believe how well Ryan played - his throws to get the players out were so accurate - dead on. I know how proud we are of him.
