Happy Anniversary

Ingredients:  Stampin' Up Very Vanilla and Island Indigo Paper/Ink; Stamps: Verve and PTI; Ribbon:  SU Very Vanilla; Flowers:  Prima

The start of a new week and the weather is gorgeous in Cincinnati.  Not our usual hot and humid summer days, but a nice cool, crisp day!  I played a bit this weekend with distress inks.  For today's card, I stamped several flowers in Versamark and then heat embossed them with clear embossing ink.  I then applied Tattered Rose distress ink to the whole panel.  The colors are inspired by this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge.  I love the Prima flowers on this too.  The best part is that the bottoms of the flowers are flat and come with glue dots so they are very easy to adhere!

Love that stamped background and the yummy ribbon and flower. I've seen a few of those flowers now. They look heavy - are they?

Hooray for cool, crisp weather! It's actually raining at the moment. Not enough to put much water in the tank (just a steady drizzle) but hopefully it will revive the garden somewhat!
