Belated Thank You

Hi there...it's been a while since I shared a few of my favorite links to a variety of blogs.
  • First up, I am very late in thanking Denise for passing along the Stylish Blogger Award to me a couple of weeks ago.  Thanks so much Denise.  Check out here beautiful creations...this is one of my favorites...very happy and cheery!
  • I love Verve stamps...and this creation by Janelle makes me want to buy even more Verve Plain Janes.
  • This card by Diane really makes me want to sing!
  • And some food for thought on this blog: here, here and here!
Now onto my card for today.  The Play Date Cafe Challenge this week is color splash...black and white with a touch of color.  I hadn't inked up this Clean & Simple stamp yet.  I thought this would be a nice clean card to send to my cousin, Sandie, in England. She has just started creating cards and she's been emailing me pictures of her cards.  I thought she'd appreciate another card too...who doesn't love to get mail that isn't a bill to be paid?  Look closely too at the card and you'll see I embossed the white panel...not showing the best in my photo.  I'm very ready for spring and to start taking my photos outside again!
Ingredients:  Clean & Simple Stamps; My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose DSP; Stampin' Up Whisper White Paper & Basic Black Paper/Ink

eek!! That balloon is soooo sweet :) Perfect for an overseas greeting :) I agree with you about Janelle's project with the plain janes...it really knocked the wind out of me...just seeing them all together...swoon! Reports are really done now too, edited and everything...get to hand them in today and then will only have to copy, package and file :) Bring on Spring and the new Verve Release in a few weeks :)

Great card, Lynn! I love the black matting and the embossing is the perfect way to spice up all that white space. Thanks for linking to my scripture tag project! :)
