Cast All Your Cares on Him

Hi there, popping into share a quick card a few thoughts.  This card is for another Lucy Sketch Challenge.  Thanks Lucy for putting these all on...I'll be playing with more.

Now...onto the card.  I love this sentiment.  I'm sending the card to a neighbor of mine that moved several years ago.  I just found out that she is battling Stage 3 Melanoma.  When someone is battling cancer or any difficult life challenge, it is sometimes hard to know what to say.  But, I think one of the things I have learned is that even if you don't know what to say, say something.  Say that you don't know what to say.  Say that you are praying for them.  Say that you are thinking of them.  It will help.

And that's were card making is such a gift.  Say it in person or say it in a card.  Send those cards.  Don't wait to let someone know you are thinking of them.
Ingredients:  Crate Paper Restoration Collection; Stampin' Up Melon Mambo Paper and Baja Breeze Paper/Ink; Verve Stamps; Hero Arts Script Stamp; PTI Twine

PS Susan - yes Patten's! You'll have to let me know what belt your child is on.  Jonathon is a brown belt. I'm very happy that you received one of my cards!  Marcel is at LECC in pre-school too.

Hi Lynn. I'm sorry to hear the news of your friend. Your card for her is so pretty and I know she'll appreciate your thoughtfulness. It really is important to let others know that they're in our thoughts and prayers and you're right. . .card making enables us to do that, for those near and far. Beautiful sentiment! Hugs to you!

Thanks for posting about the Becky Higgins website - very cool idea. Thinking about doing that someday, as I feel my scrapbook layouts are SO lame lately! I like her approach.

You're so right, Lynn! It means so much to know that you're not alone and that people are thinking of you when facing a difficult time (I still have the card you sent me sat on my desk - it means SO much!)
So sorry to hear of your friend's illness but thankful she has friends like you! A beautiful card too - I love your background stamping!
Hugs,
Aimes
