Merry & Bright

It has been entirely too long since I pulled out my Stampin' Up Tag Time set.  These sweet little Christmas trees are from this set.  They have a really long stem which I chopped off...but aren't they fun and whimsical?  I used watercolor pens to color them in.  The sketch is inspired by the Stampin' 411 challenge.  I also followed along with the Embellish Challenge colors again...love the combo of pink, red, brown and green.
Ingredients:  Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses Paper; Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler Paper/Ink,  Pink Pirouette Paper, Tag Time Stamp, Chocolate Chip Ink, Kaiser Kraft Gems; PaperTrey Ink Banner Die

While I'm here, I thought I'd also share another Christmas card. This card was simple and I am really pleased that it looks elegant.  I CASEd the design from Jay Gee's card here.  Hope your week is off to a great start!

They're both awesome, but I especially love the matching background dsp to match the Christmas trees, and the touch of pink is beautiful!

I'm kinda liking the red/pink together for the holidays! I love your use of the dies on your second card and how the ornament is hung by the baker's twine!
