Birthday Wishes for Katie and a Lazy Weekend

We're having a very lazy weekend...the best kind in my mind.

This card is for my sweet little niece, Katie, who turns six in a few days.  Collin and Marcel are super excited to have a sleepover at her house to celebrate.  We got the invitation yesterday and Marcel keeps asking, "Mommy, you pack me up for the sleepover?"  She'll love all the pink, ribbons, flowers, etc.  I get to have fun making a very girly card for Katie! Thanks to Just Us Girls for the sketch inspiration!
And here are a few photos from our lazy weekend...so far (3 more days!....!!!) First up is our adorable little nephew, Jakey Joe.  You forget what it is like to have a 21 month old little guy around the house...busy!!  And our back patio was the perfect place for a little mischief for him as there are a few tools out...we're under construction covering part of the patio!   And I have to add what Marcel is saying when he saw this picture, "Mommy, don't see that scratchy boy!"  Cracking up, Marcel isn't used to having someone younger around the house and didn't appreciate sweet Jakey Joe's little pinch on the face!  LOL!
Next up is my sister-in-law, Gail.  Pat called her out on making fun of his dad for not being able to hear!  I think the exact words were, "Turn up the volume Henry!"  Of course, Henry/PopPop is always a good sport!

Ryan, chilling off after a mean game of wiffle ball with his dad, Uncle Mike and cousins.
Then it was time for a small fire and smores with our neighbors.
The 7th and 8th grade teenager gang:  Noah, Liam, Drew, Josh, Ryan and Austin.
Clearly Ryan is finding Liam very funny!
And the little guys enjoying some smores too!

Hope you are having a happy 4th with lots of family and friends!
