BaBy

I did a two in one for this week's Stampin' 411 Challenge (a card and a layout).  First up is a baby card for one of my co-workers who is due to have a little boy any day!  I thought I'd use this egg paper for a baby card instead of easter.  The little buttons were actually my inspiration as my nana sent them to me this week.  Nothing better than a package of buttons and ribbon from her!

The white layer is embossed with a Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I used some dimensionals to make the BaBy sentiment and the buttons pop a little more on the card.

I posted this picture of Collin a few days ago, but wanted to share a layout using the same picture.  His cheeks look so sweet when they have a little bit of sun on them...and I had to capture the pure happiness on his face.

To make this layout I used my polka dots background set to make various size dots and Versamark/embossing powder to make it pop a bit more.  I also used an old SU Simply Scrapping kit for the thin line stickers and the flower on the i!

Thanks to Stampin' 411 for the sketch inspiration!
