Sweet One

One of my mum's dear friends, Diane, had a new granddaughter this week, sweet little Josie.  Josie's mom had a rough pregnancy so we're all so happy that she has arrived.  Josie has a few health issues so we're all praying that she gets to come home soon.  Having all boys, I don't do all pink cards very often.  I wanted something very soft and femine for Josie.

Stampin 411 provided the inspiration for this layout.  I loved layering the paper and diamond shapes!  Had to cut the squares/diamonds a couple of times before I had everything portioned correctly!

Welcome Josie!

Ingredients:  SU So Many Scallops set, SU DSP, Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White Paper, SU Buttons and Twine; PaperTrey Ink Ribbon, Hero Arts Pearls

Lynn -- this is the sweetest card! I love how you double=layered all the layers (does that even make sense?). Very effective and fabulous effect! great job with this week's sketch challenge! I hope you are able to play along with the Stamping 411 operators again soon! Thanks for sharing -- blessings, Gretchen
