Curtain Call: Flamingo

The end of summer is approaching and we have a super fun challenge for you at Curtain Call: Flamingos!  Isn't the inspiration photo fabulous?  Of course, I don't have any flamingos...so I decided to have a little water color fun and mimic the shirt in the photo below. I embossed flowers are my card several times using white embossing powder. To add some color I water colored the floral blooms and finished it off with a vellum sentiment.  I added a touch of blue watercolor between the flowers so that it looked a bit more like the shirt.

  4. No I wouldn't have any Flamingos either!!! Your watercolouring is so soft and subtle and the blue wash around the flowers really does make the card like the blouse. Quite a different card for you but I really like it and naturally flowers bloom!!
