Most of you know that I don't use a ton of patterned paper so it is pretty rare when I buy the embellishments that go with the 6x6 patterned paper packs. However, a couple of months ago I bought the chipboard stickers that go with the BasicGrey Bowtie collection. They have really subtle patterns on them. My card today (inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge) features one of those cute stickers. This went to a co-worker that is doing a tremendous job.
Now...changing subjects completely! I have a question for you. Do you send the cards you make? I send/give a lot of cards out. Sometimes as gifts for teachers/friends and often as thank you notes/thinking of you to family members. A few weeks ago, I received the following note from Pat's Uncle Bob, "Just had to tell you---Jean and I receive a "thinking of you" note from Mary, that came from your collection. As with each Christmas card I receive from you each year, I am so impressed with your handiwork. I really appreciate your talents and needed to let you know." Even though the card wasn't directly from me, Uncle Bob's note made by day. So...here's my encouragement...if you're making the cards send them or give them to someone who will use them! I know they will love it...you never know whose day you will make. And they may make yours too...just like this note from Uncle Bob!

Hi Lynn... I just discussed this with a fellow SA blogger(really 5 minutes ago!)It is sad to say that NONE of the last few cards I have send home, didn't reach their destinations!
Now that makes me sad... so will I continue to send them... I guess so ;)
I love your card today. So awesome CAS!
Gorgeous card, Lynn!
I do send cards. I also give them away. I love it when someone loves a card I made. I am devastated when someone receives my card and throws it in the bin (after two seconds on the kitchen bench). I love receiving cards (and I can never bring myself to throw any away). I should probably send more than I do. ;-)
Love your card and I'm sure that your co-worker did too! that smidge of patterned paper and the sticker is perfect.
Thanks for the encouragement of giving away cards. I've been trying to send a couple out every week but haven't been too successful.
what a darling little sticker! I always love seeing the inspiration picture after seeing you card and smiling at the interpretation :) Ah, yes, I send cards, birthday, thank yous, thinking of yous, anniversary, wedding, encouraging and also sell my cards to coworkers who appreciate the art of a handmade card. I love to hear how my cards are loved by the recipients, just like Uncle Bob said to you :) I love that he shared that with you :) p.s. Your cards that I get make me smile and warm my heart :) ox
What a wonderful take on that inspiration photo, Lynn - love it!
I try to send my cards to friends and family but do end up collecting quite a few that are not sent. This year though, I am selling them at work with all the proceeds going to the United Way! Check here: http://instagram.com/p/fbkHo9l7L-/
Way to use the DP ;) Adorable card. I do send cards out, probably not as many as I should. Also give 10 - 15 away as a birthday gift or teacher gift etc. Have heard back from other how much those they send the cards to love them - always great motivation to make more :)

I do send lots of cards and love receiving cards. I keep every single one I receive. :)
If I bought the embellishments to go with all the paper collections I hoard, my craft room would be full to bursting! LOL!
I need to do what you're doing and use some of my DP...maybe I should buy the embellishments to inspire me even more...! ;D
I have lots of cards to send but some from my early crafting days that won't see the light of day again (unless it's a recycling box!) ;P
Way cool story!
What a FABULOUS way to use that paper clip!! Beautiful take on the Runway! (So glad that you join the fun)! I gave most of my cards away and send some! I do get really awesome comments and feedback, so that's what I will be/continue doing...:) Yay for Uncle Bob!
