A One Layer Kind of Day

Happy Sunday to you...our weather has cooled down a bit here, but it is still nice and sunny outside.  I'm planning on heading out shopping with my mum this afternoon.  I'm really looking forward to spending the day together and hoping we find a few things we like.  It's time to spruce up the closet.  But before I go, on Thursday, I went on a little stamping spree with one layer cards.  You can see the first one I made here.  I also made the one above with a few Verve sets for this week's Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger.  If you look closely you can see a ledger stamp behind the sentiment.
And my final one layer card for today...a nice masculine birthday card for this week's Play Date Cafe challenge.  I love the PTI Grunge set...a perfect set for this week's Play Date colors.  Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

You make OLC looks so easy! Great stamping off the edges on both, really makes for some movement and diversity in them. I hope you have a grand time with your mother!

Wow, you are the queen of one layer cards!! They scare me, but you have them down to a T! I love that one is more feminine and one masculine.

I find one layer cards to be so difficult, great job on the Tuesday Trigger-- I love how you used those colors. And the PDC one is great too...

Oooo! Fantastic, CAS creations! I really should try these more often. They just don't flow naturally from my fingers, but I just love them to pieces! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week, too, at the Play Date Cafe!
