Time Out: Where Words Fail Music Speaks

Hello there friends! It's time for a fun challenge over at Time Out.  Our theme is Different.  Have fun doing your thing and making something different!  My family has a love for music so that is certainly not different, but a music inspired card is.

For my card, I used the sponsor stamp set from our awesome sponsor, Funky Fossils . I love, love, love their stencils and stamps. Today's card is using the set Guitar Hero. I will be getting a lot of use our of it.

Lisa is our guest designer for this challenge. Be sure to check our her amazing designs when you come on over to Time Out to play along.

Time Out: Hooray It's Your Day!

Can you believe it? Time Out is celebrating our 7th birthday! Time certainly flies when you are having fun.  It feels like yesterday that Sandie and Nonni started Time Out. I'm so thankful for the inspiration Time Out provides for me and for the fabulous crafting community it supports. So let's celebrate!

I have a drawer of odds and ends for putting cards together and this card was made from those. My card stash is way too low right now...so this one has already gone out the door to celebrate my niece.

Our sponsor for the challenge is the fabulous STAMPlorations.  They have fabulous products and are offering a very generous $40 gift certificate!.

We hope we can see you over at Time Out and you help us celebrate our 7th birthday.  Karen is our guest designer - we are so thankful to have her creating and celebrating with us!

I pulled out a die cut that I love...with so much gorgeous detail. This card will definitely be going to my hubby for the holiday.

We hope we can see you over at Time Out!  Nancy is our guest designer...Thank you Nancy - and please go check her and the rest of the designers out!

Time Out: Dream On

Happy Friday eve my friends! It is time for another challenge at Time Out!  We have a really fun quote to inspire you!  So many directions you could go. I love a good book to pass the time and move me away from any worries, but I decided to go with the dream word from the quote.

Quickly added a stencil from Funky Fossils design and the sentiment and I was ready to go. This card was popped in the mail a couple of weeks ago for my second son along with a couple practical items (updated health insurance cards)...and a gift card to his favorite place. I'm missing him as he is back at school...and I want him to remember to always dream. He is capable of amazing things!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you're inspired to play along. Newton's Nook Designs is our sponsor and you have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.  Be sure to check out Bobby (one of my favorite bloggers) card and the rest of the design team over at Time Out!

Time Out: Thinking of You

Happy Friday Eve my friends! I'm happy to be back with a new challenge for you at Time Out!

The challenge is to be YOU. Create a card that represents you. So here are why I made this card: I love CAS cards...I love the color coral..I love flowers and a card that is easy to make in bulk with a variety of sentiments. This card was made with thinking of you, sympathy and birthday sentiments!

Our guest designer is Anila. Please go check out her fabulous creations along with those of the design team at Time Out!

Time Out: Miss You

Happy 2021 my friends!  It's time for the first challenge of 2021 over at Time Out! Our inspiration is to be inspired by Life in the City...with an optional twist of inking. You can see I went very literal for my take on the challenge.

Joy is our guest designer...her coloring is incredible...be sure to pop over and see her card as well as the rest of the design team. We are sponsored for this challenge by Birch Press designs. They have gorgeous stamps and intricate dies that are amazing!

We hope you can come play with us at Time Out!

Time Out: Thank You So Very Much

Merry Christmas my friends!  We have a gorgeous inspiration photo for you for our last Time Out challenge of 2020. I loved all the gorgeous grey and white in the inspiration photo but decided to go with the snowflakes for my inspiration.  We all need thank you notes this time of year so I decided to go that route with my card.

Vicky is our fabulous guest designer for this challenge.  Be sure to go check out her and the rest of the design team's cards at Time Out!  And of course, our sponsor is Stamplorations...so many awesome goodies in their shop too!
