With Sympathy


Happy Sunday my friends.  I was up super early yesterday (my internal alarm has been going off at 4:30/5 am - yuck!) so I figured I might as well get up and craft.  I am past due sending a sympathy card to a friend who lost her sister to cancer. She fought so hard for so many years.  The Muse Challenge was the perfect challenge to play along. I liked the neutral color palette and the way the sentiment slightly overlaid the die cuts. My card used stamps instead of dies. Love how CAS both cards are.  Hope that your weekend is a relaxing one!

    This is perfect for a sympathy card, Lynn. Never easy cards to make but this is beautifully understated and I love how the sentiment strip stretches across the entire width of the card.

    Sigh. This is just beautiful.
    Both my dog and I have an internal alarm as well. His is usually earlier than mine...I try to fight getting up on the weekends but he has nothing to do with that, he will bug me until I get up!

    Your card is so soft & pretty Lynn. It's tough having to make sympathy cards for people we know but I'm sure this was very much appreciated. A lovely CAS design!
