Hello there...a card for no particular challenge today (I know don't fall over in shock!). We're heading up to Pittsburgh this weekend for our niece, Erin's, confirmation. Of course, I had to make her a card to go with her gift. I'm her confirmation sponsor and am thrilled we can make it for this special occasion for her.
Now...I did have a mishap on this card...check out the card below. I got all the way to taking the picture before I realized part of the sentiment was missing! So...off came the cross onto a new card with a corrected sentiment. I wasn't sure I loved the flourish on the first version so I left it off.
Hope you have a great weekend ahead too!
wow. Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! May have to use your card as a guide, my daughter is making her confirmation in a few weeks. Your card is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Lynn. I think the goof was a blessing in disguise because I like it better without the flourish. That extra line fills in the card perfectly.
ReplyDeleteIt's like the PTI MIM card I made once where I accidentally put the word and twice, I didn't notice it till someone pointed it out to me... beautiful card. And I'm happy to report I finished my card order and have prepped tonight's card class...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, Lynn! Perfect for your niece!
ReplyDeleteOh I definitely think you had a Guiding Hand with your card, Lynn.. love it CAS and so will your niece! Safe travels!

Oh, so very beautiful!! Such lovely colors! Have a safe trip! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's stunning, with or without the flourish, Lynn! Just adore this card! ♥
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card for your nieces confirmation Lynn! Of course they are both beautiful but without the cross seems more true to your beautiful clean CAS style;) Have a great week as well and safe travels to Pittsburgh. Brooklyn leaves for Europe Friday night!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and blessings to your niece. And I do like the flourish, but like the card without it a wee schmick better. It's gorgeous, and one of my granddaughters gets confirmed in May, so I just might have to CASE another one of your cards, lol! Just beautiful. Bev
ReplyDeletePerfection! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteErin is going to flip over this card! Perfect for the confirmation!
ReplyDeleteI do that so many times but usually try to correct it in some way rather than make a new card! I do love the flowers in the cross, it has given me an idea-thanks for the inspiration x
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Lynn ... a truly special card for a truly special event ... congratulations to your niece! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! So happy for your niece. I actually think I like it better without the flourish because it draws more attention to the beautiful cross and flowers. Yay for good mishaps. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the sentiment?
