Happy Monday friends...we're back with another great inspiration photo for you at PaperSmooches Sparks Challenge. I'll admit...that this photo stumped me! I'm not sure why, but I was stumped.
So...I kept thinking and thinking and ended up with this card after I tried another card (scroll down a bit for me to show you!). I love the end result. I really need to turn sentiments vertical more often as I love the end result. for my card, I used the PaperSmooches Scallop Tag Die. I stamped the flowers using Bold Blooms and then I stamped one flower onto the base panel too. I then stamped the sentiment (from Simply Said) before adhering the tag to make sure it all lined up okay. Added a touch of ribbon, twine and a button plus some gems. Love the end result.
And...just to show that my first idea is not always my favorite idea, below is my first attempt at this inspiration photo!

ReplyDeleteYes agree that both cards are perfect for the inspiration but that first card just has the details that make it pop! I particiulah love the flower stamped off the tag!!! What turquoise did you use? I <3 it!

ReplyDeleteGOOOOOOOODNESS me!! Two cards??!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I love the first one-- so pretty with that blue background and 3D tag! I looooooove your second card too! I have two cards as well, but my CAS 2nd card.... didn't turn out like yours! It was a mess! I think that's because I don't do CAS well! LOL!

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty color (it's so cheery) and I agree the 2nd attempt is much better. I think I like the Tag and the placement of the sentiment much better on it.
