Happy, happy Friday...I'll be heading to Columbus today for work...and then the five o'clock bell will chime and it will be time for the weekend! I'm looking forward to it. I hope you enjoyed the two week challenge with us. The blues cards were absolutely amazing! We have a fun challenge for you this week, but before we get to it, let's chat about our sponsor this week, Bossy Joscie.
If you haven't pop over to the site before, please be sure to do so. There are lots of awesome crafty goodies for you!
Now...onto our challenge today for CAS-ual Fridays. It is another challenge to get you ready for the holiday. Create a gift tag. I have two tags to share with you today. One using some new Craft's Meow stamps and the second using CAS-ual Friday stamps. Two completely different looks. I hope you like them both and can't wait to see your creations for the week!
And before I go...I need to share Marcel's santa wisdom :) He made his Christmas list yesterday. When I got home Pat was laughing when he showed it to me saying he wished he had a tape recorder. Well...Marcel repeated his Santa list theory to me. "You put the red guitar at the top of your list because Santa is very busy. I really want the red guitar and he only reads the top of the list because there are millions of letters. He doesn't really look at the whole list. Sometimes you get lucky and he reads other parts of the list, but most of the time no. But I really do get good things from Santa." Needless to say we were having a good laugh about it...and we're thinking Santa better bring a red guitar!

Love these cool tags! Your son's thinkin' hard! So are mine! Too cute.
Beautiful tags, Lynn! Love the way the trees are placed off the edges!
Such a sweet story about Marcel! I can't wait to see that Christmas morning photo! :)
Loving those trees with the touch of glitter :) Marcel is sooo cute!! Gotta love how kids process information. Write that down and save it for future stories!!
Sweet Santa list wisdom - so special - hope you keep the list and scrapbook that moment so you can remember it forever. Love your blog name and banner! These tags are too cute!
tags, I love tags!!!! Yours are awesome...will def play along.
Oh my, don't kids have the best theories?
Your tags are adorable. I LOVE the tree one!
I love it! What a good life question, "What would be at the top of YOUR list?" It reminds me of a conversation in our class this week. "Be careful what you wish for." Some kids knew that phrase, but a lot didn't. I love explaining little sayings like that to them. Now, those tags are too precious! I hope the recipients treat them as such and keep them for bookmarks or something! Have a great little trip and a fabulous weekend :) hugs ox
Love the tags - the second one is my favorite.
Sounds just like Marcel - how does he come up with all these things - too clever for his age!!!
well Santa had better go shopping!
Love the ribbon, button and twine combo x
Thanks for sharing that great story Lynn :)
Fabby tags!!
Hmm...where does Santa conjure up a red guitar? Your little guy has a serious thinking cap! Beautiful tags Lynn, and I hope you have an excellent weekend.
That's right! Santa better bring that red guitar ;). These are both so beautiful! LOVE the Washi Tape and your glitter-topped hills!
Classy! Nice Tags. Great Inspiration.
LOL, I love Marcel's logic! I think it's true not just for Santa but everyone who has to read lists. Haha. Love all the details on your tags, too!
Super awesome tags and I just love that Santa logic! As the mom of a rocker, I'm rootin' for him to get that red guitar!
Sweet tags! Love how you put them together! I adore Marcel's thinking-out-loud...what a SMART boy! Yes, Virginia...there is a Santa! That red guitar has better to show up under the Christmas tree!
WONDERFUL tags!
Marcel is so WISE and I do LOVE these tags! Great idea with the washi tape and the trees are so cool, Lynn!
Both cards are adorable. Can't pick a favourite...
Marcel is a genius. Seriously how clever? I always used to start my letter by asking how Mrs. Claus was doing. I figured if I was nice about his wife it would earn me brownie points. :)
