One Day at a Time (and more vacation photos)

Happy Monday!  This week is pretty much going to be Verve week on the blog as I play along with their anniversary challenges!  Today's Verve Challenge was to make a Clean & Simple card...of course, this is my favorite kind of card to make so I loved playing along.   I combined it with this week's CASE Study challenge which is to CASE one of the CASE Study designers.  I adore Debby's style, so I cased the card of hers below.  I love that sweet little leaf with the touch of twine and pearl.  Such a punch with minimal embellishments.  She is amazingly talented!

Now...onto some more vacation pictures!  The boys know that I always try to get individual portraits and a family shot when we are gone.   Here are a few from last week's vacation!
Karen updated my blog header with these too :)  So happy..

It can't all be serious...

Somehow the first shot generally tends to be the best of the whole gang...Ryan still has a few more inches to go to pass Pat and Jonathon has a few more inches to pass me...

Nana (who spoiled us all week) with her beautiful boys!

And just so we know life isn't perfect...a picture of the melt down of one little guy who we had crashed before we came out and wasn't thrilled to be woken up for pictures (his older brother (Ryan) captured about 50 pictures of the melt down...but Collin came through just fine in the end :)

I like the layouts of both cards. I like how the leaves are hanging off the first one, and that leaf and sentiment are gorgeous in the second one! The family pictures are great :) What a great backdrop, too!

Aww I'm blushing Lynn! Thanks for picking me! I love the colours and papers you chose - so beautifully serene :) Now on to another star of the show - your photography! wonderful pictures of your boys. Great vacation pictures! I didn't get to go on vacation this summer but my husband and I are looking at vacation rentals in Madeira Beach for next summer. I am not going another summer without a family vacation!
