I had a variety of ideas for the current PaperSmooches challenge, but none of them were translating! So, I decided it was time to make my nana a card. Since she is in England and I'm in Ohio, I thought a map showing both of us would represent how much I miss her across the miles. yes, yes, yes, I know very literal! I loved playing along with some new PaperSmooches stamps I got because I had a card published using PS stamps. It's always awesome to get new stamps and for free is even better. So what do you think? I think the stamped panel could stand alone too with of course a white background from this CAS loving girl!

Love this stamp set - it's on my wishlist :) Great card - I love what you've done here.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a perfect card for your nana. Such a cool mix of stamps and paper.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea, Lynn! So perfect for your nana - she'll love it, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI adore this idea, literal or not! :) What a wonderful card for your Nana!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love free stamps? Congrats on being published, too. Clever idea with the map as a background! You're definitively right - the stamped panel would make a focal point itself with just a white card base :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a "missing you" card! I'm sure she'll love it.
ReplyDeletegreat missing you card. love the mix of colored leaves.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Lynn - love the map, especially as it shows were each of you are :) And YAY! for free stamps.
ReplyDeletelove that map paper!! great idea to pair it with a missing you card!
ReplyDeleteNeat, Lynn! I love how the leaves are falling off the tree and the different colors you chose :) I've gotta get this tree! Also loving the map paper behind.
ReplyDeleteI adore cards with maps on them...perfect for this sentiment and Nana :)
ReplyDeleteI love the map Lynn, an amazing background. What a great way to show the world isn't that big.
ReplyDeleteI love the literal approach to this and I bet your nana will too! Love how the colours of the leaves coordinate with your map AND represent all of the seasons - clever!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
