Sherlock Holmes

Hi everyone...I'm back from a wonderful vacation to England to visit with my Nana, cousin Sandie and several aunts/uncles.  It was a fabulous time!  But boy oh boy did I miss Pat and the boys!  We're already back into the swing of normal life:  baseball, school and plays.  Ryan had his first role in a school play this weekend.  Once again, I am so impressed by him and his classmates.  Their confidence, hard work and skill is incredible.  The play was truly wonderful!  I thought you'd enjoy a few pictures of Doc Holiday who turned out to be the villain of the play.  Don't you just love all the costumes and the expressions of the kids?  We are very blessed to live in a community with dedicated teachers who put so much into teaching our children about acting and really teaching them positive life lessons about teamwork. It simply puts a big huge smile on my face!  Way to go Ryan!

And...I got busy in my craft room yesterday afternoon. I need thank you notes! I was inspired by the pink flowers in this week's CASE Study Challenge.  Clearly I simplified Laurie's gorgeous card that I loved.  I made an orange and pink version.  Hope you like them both and that your week gets off to a great start. I'll be back tomorrow with pictures from my trip.
