Christmas in July (just a little late...)

When I saw this week's CASE Study inspiration card, I knew I had to play along.  I loved Dawn's card layout.  So many possibilities and a stunning CAS design.  I loved every last bit about it.  So, when I was looking through my stamps, I decided I needed something with some height.  I need to get more Christmas cards done, so I pulled out one my favorite Hero Art sets.  I clear embossed the trees and then inked them and the scallop border up with Ranger Distress Ink.  Happiness!

Here's Dawn's gorgeous inspiration card!
I'm also linking this up for the challenge at the PaperTrey Playhouse challenge...Christmas in July...perfect!

Love your take on the challenge. Simply stunning. The clear embossing and distress ink has really brought out the best in the stamps.

I so love this! Especially how you put the sentiment on the side. I've been playing with this set lately trying to come up with my Christmas card so I can start mass producing. This is a winner!
