You’re a Force to be Reckoned With {and craft room work in progress..}

Hello there...I'm popping in to share a card for a friend who is fighting breast cancer. She'll be having a double mastectomy in a few weeks and I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her. She has an amazing positive attitude.  Certainly lifting her up in prayer and thought this Verve sentiment was perfect for her.  I always love making cards with specific people in mind.

I thought I'd also give you an update on my craft space.  Since we moved in October I've been working off folding table.  Of course, I'm happy with any space, but looking forward to having a space where I can get more organized.

This is the current set up...a filing cabinet and a long folding table.

And some unpacked boxes on the other side of the pool table :)

A view into the room that Pat is currently remodeling for my craft room and his poker table. It will be a bit more poker room than craft room, but we have ordered cabinets to go along that wall with a nice long counter.  The cabinets will be in at the end of April. I'll be sure to keep you updated with pictures as we make progress!

What a beautiful card with beautiful thoughts behind it. ARGH! Your craft set up reminds me of mine when we were living with my dad during the house build! It will feel so nice to have your new space. Can't wait to see more progress! Ox

You'll love having all those cabinets and a nice long counter, Lynn! I think it's a hoot that you'll be sharing your space with a pool table. Not only can you craft while the fam has a game, but you can pop up when no one's around and either smack a ball to get rid of those no-mojo moments or just practice your shots!!

On a more serious note, I'm very sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis and I pray her journey to full recovery is smooth. Your card is perfect and I'm sure it will bring her great comfort. Hugs, Darnell

She will treasure the sentiment and the support. Great card. New craft space will come - hang in there! I worked off our dining room table for a few years (much to hubby's chagrin lol!)
