Thanks

Several weeks ago I received the new Stampin' Up catalog, but I really hadn't had a chance to look through it yet.  We had a rainy Sunday so it was a great day to look through it.  I really miss PaperCrafts magazine...going through and turning pages of cards that inspired me in the magazine.  So this card was inspired by the magazine. There are a lot of cards with soft water color stripes.  It was the perfect opportunity to play along with CASology by making rows of stripes.  I then used my Misti to stamp the sentiment (best invention ever for those thicker sentiments) and no surprise using my new WPlus9 stamps from yesterday.

Besides Pinterest...do you have a favorite place to go for inspiration?

I find inspiration everywhere; blogs, challenges, pictures, paintings from friends and others, a lot from pinterest and Facebook, but also just looking at my garden or on a walk, seeing a beautiful building or street and of course from layouts and just by looking at magazine-layouts and advertisments in them and on TV... you name it...!
This beautiful sunny striped card could join in at TO aswell:) Hugs, Gerrina

The SU catalog is always a great source of inspiration but these days I tend to find inspiration in blog hopping and Pinterest. There is so much talent out there!!

This is gorgeous, Lynn. I love your stripes and that single flower -- so dramatic. I find that I get so much inspiration just visiting all the blogs I like to follow, and don't have nearly enough time to use every idea I find. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.

These stripes are just so sunny and bright. This card could have been for the Time Out challenge this week! And I am with Gerrina on inspiration. A few weeks ago we went to the theatre and one of the dancers had a dress on that as soon as I saw it I kept thinking...remember that design, it would be a great card...Callum just rolled his eyes!!

Such a pretty single bloom against those sunny yellow stripes, Lynn ... it's delicious! I too miss turning the pages of inspiration in card making magazines ... and now find myself seeing cards in adverts! Hugs, Anita :)

Those yellow stripes are scrumptious, Lynn. As is the perfect one little bloom. I get most of my inspiration from other bloggers nowadays. There is so much talent out there.
